What to take to the hospital:

~Portable CD player with relaxing music

~ Night gown and/or robe

~Socks

~You may want to bring extra clothing or your favorite blanket if you get cold easily.

~personal items (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc)

~Chap stick

~Lotion

~Outfit to wear home (remember, you probably won't be back into your pre-pregnancy clothes!)

~Nursing pads for bra, and a good bra

~List of people you want to call and a phone card in case you have to call long distance

~Camera, video camera

~Books or something to keep you occupied

~Any gifts you have for the baby or the adoptive parents

~Journal, Paper, Pen
