"YOU PLACE HER IN MY ARMS AGAIN"

If I ever needed a picture to get me through the day-- all I would have to do is ask,
and you would get it to me no matter how busy you are with all the motherly tasks.

If I ever felt really sad and felt her loss in the middle of the night,
no matter what hour it was-- I could call you and you could ease the pain and make it alright.

If I ever needed to call you up and ask you just to put her on the phone to tell her I love her so,
you would let me talk to her until I was ready to hang up and let her go..

If I ever told you I needed a visit to hold her one more time-- and gently kiss her face,
no matter how far apart we are-- you would graciously come forth and meet me at my place.

If I ever needed her to know that I love her but that my love was not enough to make her stay,
you would graciously tell her the story of my love to make the journey in finding her a better way.

If I ever needed to hold her once again and grasp the sense of having her close-- it wouldn't matter when,
you would do whatever it took to place her in my arms all over again..
