Carseat (if you are flying, you can check the carseat or buy a seat for the infant and carry them in it on the plane--much easier alternative!)

several outfits (1-3 per day you will be gone)

formula (find out what formula the baby is on at the hospital--can bring it or buy it there or decide what formula you want to use and have at least one can)

bottles

portable crib (or the hotel may have one)

Go to a hotel with a microwave and refrigerator in the room (makes eating cheaper!)

stroller

burp pads

pacifier

bath items-shampoo, baby wash, wash cloth, towel, lotion

thermometer

rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and swabs for the cord

Quarters and laundry soap

Something to read, do

snacks

if the baby is not a newborn, a couple of small toys would be helpful

If you are flying, try feeding the baby a bottle during take-off and landing, as it helps with the pressure in their ears
